Come work with Fred Trotter, the author of "Hacking Healthcare" arguably the world's leading health IT expert. We build products that decode Medicare claims data to guide new drug launches for pharmaceutical companies.
If you are comfortable with Laravel(PHP) and SQL (specifically MariaDB/MySQL) and you want to break into the lucrative field of Health IT, this is clearly the best opportunity to do that.
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years experience with SQL and SQL performance
  • Able to handle basic MySQL admin tasks (setup replication, backup, etc.)
  • Familiar with Linux, especially Ubuntu variants
  • Not offended by Transformers pajama bottoms
  • Comfortable coding in PHP
  • Familiar with Laravel specifically

It would be nice if you:
  • Have experience with javascript
  • Have experience with d3.js
  • Have experience with graph databases like neo4j
  • Hadoop/PIG would be lovely
  • MongoDB is great
