We are seeking a motivated CNC Grinder Operator to join our team and support daily operations while meeting customer and regulatory requirements.

Position Summary:   The CNC Grinder Operator position is responsible for ID/OD grinding with Manual and CNC equipment, and surface grinding and lapping.

Education and Experience

  • Prior experience working with manual or CNC grinding and lapping equipment.
  • Prior experience working with machine metal products and familiar with the measurements and tolerances involved.
  • Must be familiar with and able to interpret basic GD&T measurements, tolerancing and symbology.

Core Contributing Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities to the Organization

  • Setup and operate grinding and lapping equipment following instruction on routings or paperwork.
  • Read and interpret shop drawings.
  • Perform in-process inspection to ensure consistency and accuracy of operational process.
  • Work with engineering to improve or correct issues as they happen.

  • Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
