Job description

Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch is seeking to hire an experienced and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to provide mental health care for children and adolescents aged 10-17. We are open to LAPC, LPC, and LPCC.
The Ranch is unlike any place you have worked! The Ranch provides free supervision hours for those pursuing licensure.

Additional therapeutic modality training paid for by the Ranch.

Responsibilities:

Walk alongside our youth during their mental health journey and advocate for them by connecting them with the resources they need to accomplish their treatment goals.

  • Provide evidence-based services to help youth meet their goals.
  • Work with a professional, multi-disciplinary team to coordinate and collaborate on services.
  • Conduct individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Communicate and document services, care, and treatment.
  • Complete assessments and regularly evaluate the effectiveness and outcomes of techniques.
  • See the treatment plan unfold and help children in real time.

Qualifications:

The successful applicant must:

  • Have or be working towards a master's or doctorate degree.
  • Be eligible to be licensed in Counseling or Social Work in North Dakota.
  • Credentials that could successfully hold this position
  • Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
