Job description

At Tutor Me Education, we are revolutionizing the way students learn, and we're seeking passionate teachers and tutors with special education experience to provide 1:1 in-home tutoring in Los Angeles, CA! About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you'll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Los Angeles, CA

Details:

  • In-Person Tutoring in Los Angeles, CA
  • Schedule: 25 hours a month; 5x a week , 1hr 15mins
  • Pay rate ranges from $25-$35 per hour

Ideal Candidate:

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
  • Experience supporting students with intellectual disabilities and IEPs
  • Strong understanding of foundational literacy and math instruction
  • Patient, encouraging, and skilled at adapting instruction to individual learning needs
  • Familiar with strategies that support reading comprehension, language development, and foundational math skills
  • Able to create engaging, structured lessons that promote confidence and academic growth
  • Experience working alongside speech and language goals is preferred
  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills
  • Comfortable providing individualized instruction and progress monitoring
