 Part-Time / PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – In-House Rehab Team! 

Location: Braintree, MA

Position: Part-Time / PRN 

Setting: In-House Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist who loves working with the geriatric population but is tired of unrealistic productivity metrics and endless corporate red tape? 

At Royal Braintree Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, we do things differently. We are proud to operate a 100% in-house therapy department. That means you work directly for our facility, collaborating closely with a dedicated interdisciplinary team that prioritizes patient outcomes over corporate quotas. What You’ll Be Doing: 

As our SLP, you will be the cornerstone of our speech, swallowing, and cognitive therapy programs. 

  • Evaluate & Treat: Provide comprehensive assessments and individualized treatment plans for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders (dysphagia). 
  • Innovate: Utilize evidence-based practices to help our residents regain independence and improve their quality of life. 
  • Collaborate: Work hand-in-hand with our PTs, OTs, nursing staff, and dietary team to ensure holistic, patient-centered care. 
  • Educate: Empower patients, families, and facility staff with the knowledge and strategies they need to support recovery. 
  • Document: Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with state, federal, and facility guidelines. 

What You Bring to the Table: 

  • Education: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. 
  • Licensure: Active (or pending) state SLP license in MA. 
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA CCC-SLP) is highly preferred. (Strong CFYs with a passion for adult/geriatric rehab will be considered!) 
  • Experience: Previous experience in a SNF or adult rehab setting is a plus, but a collaborative mindset and passion for patient care are what matter most. 
  • Skills: Strong clinical reasoning, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
