Job Description: The primary focus of KBM stereo photo interpreters is assessing forest regeneration and conducting forest inventories using KBM Aviation collected stereo photos. KBM is currently seeking a stereo photo interpreter with proven technical skills to join our team. The ideal candidate would have field experience and a willingness to occasionally support field work programs. While candidates with a strong background in forest resource inventory are preferred, specific job training will be provided for the successful candidate. Required Skills: * Background in Forestry, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, or a related field. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. * Strong organization skills Preferred Skills: * Familiarity with DATEM Summit Evolution * Stereo photo interpretation certification * Familiarity with tablet-based data collection applications (e.g., ESRI survey 123 or Field Maps) * Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. * Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. * Demonstrated experience using GNSS systems for navigation and data collection. * Proficient use of ESRI suite products (ArcPro, ArcMap, AGOL, etc.). * Demonstrated experience working in remote environments for extended periods of time. * Demonstrated experience working outdoors.   Location This position will be based out of our Thunder Bay, ON office.   Education and Experience: * Degree, diploma, or currently enrolled in Forestry, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, or related discipline. * Previous work experience in precision forest data collection or other related disciplines.   What We Offer * Competitive contract compensation.
