IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical, is seeking a Project Manager - Utility Line for work in Nebraska, Kansas, South Dakota, and Iowa.
Job Summary:
  • Oversee Substations, Transmission, and/or Distribution projects to meet contractual adherence.
  • Develop and manage the project budget, financial tracking, and owner billings.
  • Develop and maintain the master project schedule.
  • Coordinate construction efforts with Management and site supervision.
  • Subcontract administration to ensure subcontractors meet scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Manage material procurement to support the project schedule and budget.
  • Provide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc., as required.
  • Responsible for Change Management.
  • Manage quality and productivity of crews and ensure efficient use of materials & equipment.
  • Interface with clients, AE representatives, and others on the project site.
  • Maintain client relationships to foster long term client satisfaction with IESCI.
  • Provide feedback to estimating.
  • Assist with adherence to the IESCI safety program.
  • Travel is required.
  • Employee must live or relocate to within NE, KS, MO, IA or SD areas as the position may be hybrid from home or office.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in project management
  • Minimum 2 years experience with substations, transmission line work, or distribution work required
  • Knowledge of utility line and substation safety.
  • Proficient computer skills and experience utilizing MS Office (EXCEL/Word/Power Point/Microsoft Project).
  • Valid motor vehicle operator's license
  • Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug test, background check and MVR check.
