Reports To: General Counsel
Job Summary:

The Legal Administrative Assistant / Paralegal provides legal and administrative support to the General Counsel and assists with the day-to-day legal needs of the company. The position supports contract review, claims and litigation, insurance and risk matters, corporate records, compliance, and general legal department administration. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage 
multiple priorities in a fast-paced heavy civil construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with initial review of contracts and agreements using established company guidelines and approved language. 
• Assist in preparing and revising contract redlines, amendments, notices, releases, and other legal documents.
• Track contracts and other matters submitted to Legal and follow up on outstanding items.
• Gather and organize project documents related to claims, disputes, litigation, and insurance matters.
• Assist with discovery, subpoenas, litigation holds, and coordination with outside counsel.
• Maintain legal files, corporate records, licenses, registrations, and compliance documentation.
• Track deadlines, meetings, claims, and other legal action items.
• Assist with general administrative support for the General Counsel.
• Maintain confidentiality of privileged and sensitive information.
• Perform other legal and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Prior paralegal, legal assistant, contract administration, or similar experience preferred.
• Construction, contracts, litigation, or in-house legal experience preferred.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with limited supervision. 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and related business software.
