Estate Landscaping & Lawn Maintenance, LLC is a well-established, locally owned company with over 20 years of experience serving our community. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive, family-like culture and providing high-quality landscaping and maintenance services. As a Foreman in our Maintenance Department, you will play a key leadership role, supervising and guiding a crew to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about horticulture, enjoy working outdoors, and are committed to developing both themselves and their team members in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage assigned crew members, ensuring effective teamwork and productivity
  • Plan, organize, and schedule daily work routines for the crew
  • Oversee the completion of maintenance tasks such as sod installation, pruning, irrigation programming, and equipment calibration
  • Conduct pre- and post-inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper operation and safety
  • Maintain equipment and comply with company maintenance programs and guidelines
  • Enforce all safety policies and procedures, orient new employees, and report safety concerns as needed
  • Interface with clients on-site, addressing questions and ensuring satisfaction with services provided
  • Complete and process required paperwork, including timecards and work authorizations, accurately and on time
  • Encourage crew development through training, coaching, and performance reviews
  • Identify and address horticultural issues, including plant health, weed and pest identification, and irrigation system problems
  • Promote a positive work environment and uphold company values
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in supervising and managing crews in landscaping or maintenance settings
  • Strong knowledge of horticultural practices, including plant, weed, and pest identification
  • Ability to program and troubleshoot irrigation controllers and systems
  • Proficient in maintaining and operating landscaping equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse groups
  • Organizational skills for scheduling, paperwork, and workflow management
  • Ability to train, coach, and motivate team members
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and stretching for extended periods
  • Certifications in CPR and First Aid, FCHP, and BMP are a plus
