Landscaper Helper Jobs in Alberta (NOW HIRING)

Liquid Amber Landscape Management is looking for an experienced, dependable Landscape & Snow Removal Foreman to join our team.

This is a year-round leadership position for someone who knows the landscape and snow removal industry, takes pride in their work, and can confidently lead a crew in the field.

We're looking for more than someone who can operate equipment. We need a working foreman who can organize a crew, communicate with customers and management, solve problems, maintain quality standards, and make sure the job gets done safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

Spring, Summer & Fall

• Lead and work alongside landscape maintenance crews
• Organize daily routes, crews, equipment and materials
• Perform and supervise mowing, trimming, edging and property cleanups
• Perform and supervise landscape enhancement and installation work
• Ensure properties are completed efficiently and to LALM quality standards
• Train and coach crew members
• Inspect completed work and identify deficiencies before leaving a site
• Maintain equipment and report repair or maintenance requirements
• Communicate professionally with customers and management
• Complete daily paperwork, job tracking and required reporting

Winter

• Lead snow removal operations during snow events
• Operate skid steers, loaders, tractors, plow trucks and other snow equipment
• Coordinate crews and equipment across assigned properties
• Perform plowing, snow clearing, hauling and ice-control operations
• Monitor site conditions and ensure properties are serviced safely and efficiently
• Conduct site inspections and document completed work
• Be available for snow events, including overnight, early-morning, weekend and holiday shifts when required

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate has:

• Previous landscaping and/or snow removal experience
• Previous foreman, crew-lead or supervisory experience
• Strong equipment operating skills
• A valid driver's licence and clean driving record
• The ability to lead and motivate a crew
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Good attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and make decisions in the field
• A strong understanding of job-site and equipment safety
• The physical ability to perform demanding outdoor work
• Reliability during snow events — when it snows, we need our team ready to go

Experience operating skid steers, loaders, tractors, plow trucks, commercial mowers and landscape equipment is a major asset.
