Their work includes planting trees and shrubs, mowing lawns, installing irrigation systems, and creating aesthetically pleasing outdoor environments. Landscapers may work for residential, commercial, or public properties, and often collaborate with clients to develop customized landscape plans that meet specific needs and budgets.

To thrive as a Landscape Professional, you need knowledge of horticulture, site planning, and landscape design principles, often supported by a degree in landscape architecture or horticulture. Familiarity with design software like AutoCAD, GIS systems, and landscape construction tools is typically expected, along with relevant certifications such as CLARB or state licensure for landscape architects.
