Job description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Landscape Foreman to lead a crew in the field, ensuring the timely and high-quality completion of landscape construction and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who takes pride in their work and motivates their team to perform at their best. Rock wall and excavation experience a plus.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a crew of 2โ€“6 landscape technicians
  • Execute landscape construction or maintenance tasks according to project plans
  • Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations
  • Coordinate daily tasks and logistics, including equipment and material handling
  • Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and job specifications
  • Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members
  • Maintain safety standards and enforce safety policies on job sites
  • Train new crew members and mentor staff to develop their skills


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of landscape experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques, tools, and materials
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Valid driverโ€™s license
  • Must be able to drive with a trailer
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
