Company Overview

Franklin Brothers Landscaping is a growing landscaping company based in Indianapolis specializing in the highest quality landscape construction and outdoor living spaces.


Our team builds and enhances landscapes for homeowners throughout the greater Indianapolis area, focusing on craftsmanship, attention to detail, and creating outdoor spaces that stand the test of time.


We are currently looking for a Landscape Team Member to help deliver exceptional landscaping services for our clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain residential and commercial landscapes. Work will include, but is not limited to, mulching, landscape installation, sodding, leaf removal, electric lawn maintenance including grass cutting, lawn edging, and other routine lawn-maintenance activities.
  • Maintains assigned equipment and notifies the supervisor of needed repairs.
  • Communicate politely with customers that interact with you on job sites.
  • Load equipment and materials on and off trucks and trailers.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Work Environment

This position requires being physically active, working outdoors, and in a fast-paced team environment.

Typical work activities may include:

  • Digging, grading, and preparing patio bases.
  • Lifting and moving heavy hardscape materials.
  • Cutting concrete pavers and stones.
  • Measuring, taking grades, and material planning.
  • Reading landscape designs and construction plans.
  • Operating landscaping tools and equipment.
  • Mowing, trimming, and operating blowers.
  • Working on residential properties and landscape construction sites.
  • Standing, bending, and walking for extended periods of time.


Required Qualifications

  • 18+ years old.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Arrive at our headquarters at a designated time every day.
  • Ability to lift/move 50+ pounds.
  • Maintain physical fitness level necessary to complete assigned tasks.
  • Meet all applicable Federal and State mandated labor laws.
  • Pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to maintain/further the company’s “customer first” and environmentally focused approach.


Knowledge

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to proficiently drive a track and trailer preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in the lawn maintenance field preferred.
  • CDL is not required, but a bonus.


Schedule

  • Monday–Friday
  • Start time: 7:30 AM
  • End time: 4:30-6:30 PM
  • Hours may vary by season.
  • Occasional Saturdays may be required during peak season.
