We are currently seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Crew Supervisor to oversee and coordinate various landscape construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in construction management, landscape Construction. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities 

  • effectively lead a landscape construction crew- providing training and development to crew members and providing quality workmanship
  • Monitor job progress for efficient completion of project evaluating hours on site to estimate, seeking change orders for additional work
  • Install a variety of landscape features including retaining walls, paver walkways and patios, concrete, planting of shrubs and trees
  • Operate skid steers and various sizes of excavators
  • Operate hand and power tools safely
  • Maintain a clean and safe work site, truck, and trailer- conducting daily tailgate meetings in the morning with the crew
  • Work on our snow removal team during the winter for year-round work
  • Develop project schedules and budgets while monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality and adherence to specifications.

Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of proven experience in construction management or a related field with a focus on landscaping projects.
  • 5+ years of strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
  • Knowledge of landscape construction practices, civil construction work.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in project execution.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
