Job description

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Maintenance Project Manager to lead our landscaping team in delivering high-quality outdoor maintenance services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of landscape maintenance, and hands-on experience in turf care, plans/shrubs, irrigation, and horticulture. This role involves supervising daily operations, ensuring safety standards, and maintaining client satisfaction through exceptional service delivery. This is a hands on position

Working Hours: In part of this position you will be required to be the first person on site (Approx. 5:45AM and last one to leave Approx 3pm). Depending on work load occasional weekend work may also be needed. 

License and/or Certificate

  • Possession of a valid Class C California State Driver's License is required, with a clean driving background, no prior DWIs, Reckless, etc.
  • Possession of Qualified Applicators License /* Certification in Category B - Landscape Maintenance or* be able to obtain within first 90 days of employment
  • Able to use Office 365 products, such as outlook, excel, word, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and irrigation system management.
  • Supervise a team of landscape technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure efficient operations.
  • Plan and execute landscaping projects with attention to detail, quality standards, and client specifications.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage equipment maintenance and inventory to ensure operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations for landscape improvements.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure timely completion of services.
  • Promote a positive team environment that encourages professional growth and accountability.
  • Ensure 100% Client Satisfaction

Requirements

  • Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, gardening, horticulture, or related fields.
  • Supervising or leadership experience within the landscaping or construction industry is required
  • Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care, maintenance practices, and construction techniques related to outdoor environments.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating team activities and interacting with clients.
  • Ability to operate or oversee the operation of landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license required; certification in horticulture or landscape management is a plus.
  • Be able to use a computer, iPhone and be proficient in replying to emails, calls/ texts.

Additional Notes

  • A minimum of 2-3 references is required for this position, working in a supervisory level position.
  • Clean Background is required & Real ID is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
