Landscape Project Manager

Pay: Salary 70K-90K

Position Summary

The Landscape Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing Commercial landscape construction projects from start to finish. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Plan, schedule, and manage multiple landscape projects simultaneously
  • Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed
  • Ensure all work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards
  • Project submittals and close outs

Client & Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
  • Provide updates on project timelines, progress, and any changes
  • Address client concerns and ensure satisfaction

Budget & Cost Control

  • Prepare and manage project budgets
  • Track job costs, labor hours, and material usage
  • Approve purchases and control expenses to maintain profitability

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and support crew leaders and field staff
  • Conduct site visits and provide direction to teams
  • Assist with training and performance management

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations
  • Ensure proper use of equipment and PPE
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections

Administrative Duties

  • Review and approve timecards
  • Fleet and Equipment Maintenance Tracking
  • Maintain accurate project documentation (daily logs, change orders, reports)
  • Coordinate with HR and accounting for staffing and billing needs

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in landscape construction or civil excavation/construction and Project Management
  • Strong knowledge of landscape practices, irrigation systems, and equipment
  • Ability to read blueprints and site plans
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in project management or scheduling software
  • Valid driverโ€™s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Experience with budgeting and job costing
  • OSHA certification or safety training
  • Experience with bidding and take off software

Work Environment

  • Combination of field and office work
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
  • May require early mornings, extended hours, or weekends depending on project demands
