Job description

Rea Landscape Management, a customer-centric company based in Charleston, SC, is seeking a dedicated Landscape Maintenance Crew Member for our Columbia, SC location. As a small business, we pride ourselves on providing a professional and relaxed work environment with opportunities for growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining both residential and commercial landscapes, ensuring tools are properly cared for, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. On-the-job training will be provided. Join our team and contribute to creating beautiful, sustainable landscapes for our clients.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with the maintenance of landscapes, both residential and commercial
  • Ensure tools are properly cared for and stored at the end of the day
  • Work outdoors, with frequent exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures for several hours
  • Arrive to work on time and ready to start
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while on the job


Qualifications

  • Knowledge of basic tools, equipment, proper techniques, skills, materials, and methods of landscape maintenance
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to safely operate tools such as shovels, rakes, rollers, blowers, and other related grounds/landscape equipment
  • Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as digging, standing, walking, climbing off and on equipment, squatting/kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, twisting/bending, lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs
  • Experience with Hardscape/Landscape installation preferred
