The position of Production Manager - Landscape Enhancements is an essential part of the operation of DLL. While this position is considered a leadership position, it also requires hands-on work and is a customer service position because of interactions with our customers.
 
Reporting Relationships
The Production Manager - Landscape Enhancements reports to the Direct of Operations. The Director of Operations will provide training, direction, and support to the Production Manager.
 
Requirements- MUST HAVE GREEN INDUSTRY AND/OR LANDSCAPE EXPERIENCE 
Education

·       A high school diploma or GED is a minimum requirement
 Certifications
·       A valid Ohio Driver’s License and be insurable by DLL’s vehicle insurance provider
Experience
·       Four plus years of experience in all aspects of landscaping and snow operations
·       Prior leadership and management experience is a plus
Physical Requirements
·        Ability to stand and/or walk long distances and work continuously for up to 2 hours at one time to complete tasks, assist customers and other employees 
·        Ability to work in severe temperatures for extended periods of time
·       Ability to lift moderate to heavy objects up to 50 pounds unassisted 
·        Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, grasp, and perform repetitive motions
·        Hearing and speaking to exchange information
·        Dexterity of hands to perform the tasks required of the position
·        Sight in order to be aware of hazards and dangers found in the nature of the work
 
Working Conditions
·       The employee will be expected to experience hot and humid conditions as well as cold conditions while on customer sites in all weather conditions. Because this is an all-weather job, the employee must be able to function and tolerate the changing of the seasons
·        The Production Manager- Enhancements is expected to drive to customer sites as needed
·        Willingness to work a varied schedule to ensure customer satisfaction/job completion including evenings, weekends, holidays and longer shifts
 
Duties and Tasks
They will manage all aspects of the Enhancement Crews, including:
o   Schedule Work Crews to maximize productivity and company profitability
o   Be responsible for the productivity of each team member.
o   Give job-specific directions to their team and follow-up to ensure all jobs are completed to company standards and customer expectations.
o   Teach, manage, direct and mentor each member assigned to their crew. Give quality and timely feedback on work performed
o   Train Crew on proper use of all company equipment. This includes safe usage as well as methods to reduce wear and tear and thus avoid unnecessary maintenance and repairs
o   Training and certification of new hires and experienced Crew members
o   Provide immediate feedback to crew on job performance and quality of work performed
o   Execute company disciplinary program in a fair and timely manner
o   Conduct Annual Performance Reviews for all crew members
o   Answer questions of the Crew regarding any work being done
o   Communicate workload changes to Crew to ensure productivity on all shifts
o   Conduct site inspections daily to ensure proper job completion and customer satisfaction
