Job description

Description

Russell Landscape is on the hunt for a driven and relationship-oriented Commercial Landscape Business Developer to help grow our presence. Whether you're already immersed in the world of commercial landscaping or you come from a related field like construction, property services, or B2B sales in the green industry, we want to talk to you.

This is a high-impact, boots-on-the-ground sales role that requires hustle, confidence, and a strong understanding of the commercial property landscape. If you're ready to combine your sales acumen with a team that delivers exceptional service, this could be your next great move.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and secure new commercial landscape maintenance and enhancement accounts through networking, prospecting, and cold calling.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Build long-term partnerships with property managers, developers, general contractors, HOA boards, and commercial property owners.
  • Conduct in-person site visits to assess needs and craft customized proposals.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and production teams to ensure top-notch service delivery.
  • Represent Russell Landscape with professionalism and industry know-how at meetings, trainings, and client-facing events.
  • Maintain pipeline activity and proposal tracking in our CRM system.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • At least 3 years of successful B2B sales experience-preferably in commercial landscaping, construction, building services, or another outdoor services field.
  • A proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales goals in a competitive environment.
  • Familiarity with commercial property market, seasonal service needs, and customer expectations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a knack for turning services into clear client value.
  • Tech-savvy with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and mobile productivity tools.
  • A valid driver's license is a MUST

Bonus Points For:

  • Prior experience in landscaping, horticulture, construction, or property management sales.
  • An existing book of business or a strong local network.
  • Ability to read site plans or construction documents.

Why Russell Landscape?

At Russell Landscape, we believe great work starts with great people. When you join us, you get:

  • A solid base salary plus uncapped commissions.
  • Freedom to own your territory and grow your client base.
  • A full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
  • A company culture built on trust, teamwork, and shared wins.
