Job description

Juniper is Growing! We are seeking a Landscape Superintendent for our Install team.  This position will schedule projects, supervise team members, and manage the resources needed for creating landscape installation projects for our clients. The Landscape Superintendent is responsible for adhering to established budgets, ensuring successful operations, maintaining quality control, and promoting a positive culture focused on safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing all landscape installation projects, including the coordination of all materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors required to produce quality work.
  • Providing day-to-day operational scheduling and guidance for the branch’s landscape projects.
  • Understanding client needs, and meeting with clients directly to provide excellent customer service.
  • Training and developing of team members (including proper operation of equipment, planting techniques, safety guidelines, and quality standards) as well as disciplinary actions.
  • Ensuring safety protocols are being followed by team members.
  • Interviewing and hiring team members.
  • Performing hands-on work with crews to meet work and scheduling demands as needed. 
  • Using hand tools, power tools and/or equipment to perform landscape installation projects.
  • Ensuring equipment and tools are properly maintained, stored, and used. 
  • Ordering materials as needed, managing costs and coordinating deliveries.
  • Ensuring paperwork and reports are accurately updated/completed for client billing.
  • Maintaining and managing all required computer systems, including but not limited to timekeeping, job databases, and service schedules.
  • Understanding budgets, labor, costs, and gross profits on irrigation installation projects. 
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication with clients
  • Other relevant job duties as needed.
