Mahalo Pro is seeking an experienced Landscaping Foreman to lead a commercial landscape maintenance crew. The Foreman is responsible for the overall performance, appearance, and quality of assigned properties. This position is not simply about completing tasks, it is about taking ownership of the route, ensuring properties look exceptional, maintaining efficient labor production, and holding the crew accountable to Mahalo Pro standards.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can manage a team, solve problems in the field, maintain high-quality standards, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.


Route Ownership & Quality Standards

  • Take full ownership of assigned properties and ensure they consistently meet Mahalo Pro quality standards.
  • Perform regular inspections of completed work and correct deficiencies before leaving the property.
  • Ensure all properties are clean, maintained, and presentable for customers and property managers.
  • Identify areas where quality can be improved and communicate needs to management.
  • Ensure all scheduled work is completed within the expected timeframe and labor budget.

Crew Leadership & Productivity

  • Lead, train, and motivate a landscape maintenance crew.
  • Assign daily tasks and ensure each team member understands their responsibilities.
  • Maintain crew productivity by minimizing downtime and ensuring efficient use of labor hours.
  • Hold team members accountable for attendance, work quality, safety, and proper procedures.

Landscape Maintenance Operations

  • Complete daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
  • Ensure proper care and operation of company vehicles, trailers, and equipment.

Communication & Documentation

  • Communicate daily with the Landscape Manager regarding:
  • Route progress
  • Property conditions
  • Crew performance

  • Maintain accurate time tracking and production records.
  • Document additional service opportunities and property improvement needs.

Customer Service & Company Representation

  • Represent Mahalo Pro professionally while working on customer properties.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
  • Help build strong customer relationships through quality work and responsiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services, including:
  • Landscape enhancements
  • Mulch or rock refreshes
  • Pruning
  • Cleanups
  • Other property improvements


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of commercial landscaping experience preferred.
  • Previous crew leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial landscape maintenance practices.
  • Ability to operate commercial landscaping equipment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Valid driver's license REQUIRED.
