Job description

The Landscape Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily operations on landscape projects, managing crews, ensuring quality work, and delivering excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on experience in landscaping, and the ability to manage time and resources efficiently.

Compensation:

$50,000 - $65,000 yearly


Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of landscape installation and maintenance crews
  • Interpret landscape plans and ensure projects are executed to specification
  • Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools
  • Manage crew performance, delegate tasks, and ensure safety protocols are followed
  • Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members
  • Monitor job progress, manage materials, and keep accurate records of hours and materials used
  • Train new crew members and promote a positive team environment

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of landscape experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of landscape installation (planting, hardscaping, irrigation, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret landscape blueprints and site plans
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift 50+ lbs regularly
