Responsibilities

  • Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately
  • Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive vehicles (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems)
  • Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional recommended work and estimated timelines
  • Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
  • Verify repairs through testing and test-driving

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Service Technician experience required
  • Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Excellent customer service skills and basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to learn modern repair technology, service procedures, and manufacturer specifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Clean/acceptable driving record
  • Must be willing to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
