Job description

Jaguar Land Rover of Akron, Ohio is searching for driven, dedicated and experienced Automotive Service Technicians with 1 to 5 years of experience (A, B, or C level Techs).


$5000 Sign-On Bonus for A level Master Certified Jaguar or Land Rover Technicians (conditions apply)

Job Duties:

  • Evaluate customer’s needs, working quickly and efficiently
  • Master products, services and company knowledge
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace
  • Test parts and systems to ensure that they are working properly
  • Identify mechanical problems
  • Perform basic care and maintenance including oil changes, tune-ups, and tire rotations
  • Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads and wheel bearings

Qualifications:

  • Jaguar or Land Rover experience (certified preferred) - if this experience is missing, must be certified with another car manufacturer
  • 3+ years' experience in a service department
  • Good knowledge of Automobiles
  • Effective analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications
  • Should be able to Operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Detail oriented, capable of a high-quality repair
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
  • A valid Ohio driver’s license
