David Weekley Homes' Phoenix Division is looking for an enthusiastic, team-oriented individual to join our Land Development team to help bring our communities to life! The Land Development Associate plays a key role in assisting with site development coordination, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring quality and compliance throughout the process.

This role provides valuable field experience and serves as the foundation for future growth within the Land Development or Entitlement career paths.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Land Development Team in coordinating all aspects of project management, including budgets, schedules, and reporting.
  • Serve as a field representative, meeting with consultants, contractors, and utility providers to oversee site activities and maintain project timelines.
  • Participate in inspections, walkthroughs, and turnovers to ensure quality standards and compliance are achieved.
  • Coordinate community close-out efforts, including infrastructure turnover, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) compliance, coordination with utility providers, and landscape walks.
  • Support HOA transitions by facilitating the completion and turnover of common areas to homeowners.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, land development, or related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive problem solver who enjoys working in the field and building relationships with consultants and trade partners.
  • Familiarity with civil plans, permitting, and the land development process is a plus.
