Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and field-savvy Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager to oversee the execution of projects. As a core part of our construction team, you will manage the lifecycle of foundational conduit systems (underslab) and complex outdoor power infrastructure (yard work). Because our work dictates the critical path for foundation pours and site paving, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring zero-defect installations, precise material procurement, and seamless coordination with general contractors, concrete teams, and other subcontractors.


Job Title: Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager
Job Summary:
The PM/APM will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our construction projects from conception to completion all around the DMV area. This includes planning, scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will work closely with our team, our clients, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Manage day-to-day project operations, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to schedules.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate and communicate effectively with project teams, including clients, Contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers.
  • Project Planning and Development: Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets; define project scope, goals, and deliverables; identify resources needed.
  • Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, track milestones, and ensure timely completion of project phases.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety regulations and procedures are followed on the project site.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure project quality standards are met, conduct inspections, and address any quality issues.
  • Budget Control: Monitor project expenditures, identify cost variances, and implement cost-control measures.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and change orders.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the commercial construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
