Job Description Real Estate Law Clerk Vaughan ON Our client, a leader in its field, is in need of a Real Estate Law Clerk to join its team. If you possess 3+ years of experience in either commercial or residential real estate and have an interest in learning the ins and outs of real estate purchase, sales, mortgage, refinancing, leasing and development look no further. Responsibilities will include: Commercial and residential purchase, sale and financing transactions, including drafting documentation and corresponding directly with clients and other lawyer's offices Performing sub-searches of title and off-title searches Assisting with registration of plans of subdivision and other land development matters Assisting with commercial leasing transactions Preparing various documents in Teraview including Transfers, Charges, Easements, Notices, Discharges etc.

Preparing reporting letters and accounts to clients Drafting closing documentation for commercial and residential purchase, sale and financing transactions, including preparing necessary corporate documentation Preparing and organizing closing of subdivision lot sales and purchases through Conveyancer Qualifications: A diploma in a related Legal Administration and/or Law Clerk program, or equivalent years of experience 3+ years of experience in a similar position in a Commercial or Residential Real Estate Law practice Proficiency with PC Law, Microsoft Office Suite, Teraview and Conveyancer Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently on multiple files Ability to complete commercial and residential purchase and sale transactions from start to finish with minimal supervision If you have the qualifications as outlined above and are interested in joining a dedicated team in a leading-edge industry, please forward your resume.
