The Lancaster County Career and Technology Center has an immediate vacancy for an Adult Education Academic Coach.

Lancaster County Career & Technology Center is accepting applications for our P/T Dental Hygiene Instructor within the Higher Education Department.
Summary: The Instructor will be responsible for developing and conducting learning programs and associated materials for students with the goal of producing entry-skilled and employable students and to prepare students for the National Dental Hygiene and PA State Dental Hygiene certification tests. The Instructor will also have some administrative duties including supervision of clinic and CODA related activities. This position will be located at the Willow Street Campus.
Qualifications:
  • PA licensed RDH with 2 years' experience preferred
  • Associate's degree
  • Current CPR
  • ACT 31 training
  • CHRI without prohibitive offenses at time of hire, not more than 1 year old
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Valid PA Driver's License may be required
  • Current (within one year) Criminal (State and FBI) background check and Child Abuse Clearances

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintain clinic operations
  • Participate in faculty recruitment and evaluations
  • Assist students to develop skills which will enhance student ability to obtain and maintain employment
  • Develop appropriate of course materials and aids including total written curriculum, lesson plans, instruction sheets, visual aids, and other related materials;
  • Work with the Occupational Advisory Committee and student organizations to further learning goals
  • Acts in concurrence with the PA Professional Code of Conduct

Salary: $40/ hour
Schedule: Fall Term -Tuesday mornings and Wednesday afternoons
Spring Term - Tuesday and Wednesday Full days
