Job description

Service Advisor — Lake Charles Toyota (Lake Charles, LA)

Location: Lake Charles Toyota, 3905 Gerstner Memorial Dr, Lake Charles, LA 70607. Lake Charles Toyota+1

We’re hiring a high-output Service Advisor to own the customer experience from write-up to delivery. If you can set clear expectations, communicate like a pro, and keep a busy lane moving with zero surprises, this is your desk.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet customers, capture concerns, verify warranty/insurance, and build accurate estimates and timelines

  • Schedule appointments, manage RO flow, and coordinate with technicians for precise repair descriptions

  • Conduct walk-around inspections and test drives to validate concerns; present maintenance/repair options professionally

  • Provide status updates, approvals, and pick-up times; review final invoices and next-service recommendations

  • Ensure parts availability and RO accuracy; maintain CSI standards and follow dealership processes without exception

  • Use DMS/dispatch/scheduling tools to document, price, and close ROs—no loose ends

What You Bring

  • Elite customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Working knowledge of automotive systems and dealership service operations

  • Proficiency with industry software (DMS, online schedulers); fast, accurate documentation

  • Organizational discipline: multiple ROs, strict timelines, clean follow-through

  • Team mindset: collaborate with techs, parts, and management to hit goals

Preferred Background

  • Prior dealership Service Advisor/Writer experience (high-volume a plus)

  • ASE C1 Service Consultant or OEM training helpful (not required)

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
