Job description

Department: Warehouse

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Classification: Non-Exempt

Work Environment: On-Site


OVERVIEW
This position is responsible for a variety of daily functions related to the pick and pack process for the Distribution Center for Fragrance.com.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Retrieve products from shelves based on item number according to order on scanner gun with accuracy and efficiency
  • Stage items correctly in appropriate boxes for delivery
  • Pack warehouse orders as necessary in a timely manner
  • Locate mis-picks and missing product. (CK runner)
  • Prepare packed orders for shipment i.e., paper-fill boxes, stack and wrap pallets, etc.
  • Box making
  • Follow safety procedures and maintains safe work environment
  • All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Basic understanding of numbers and letters
  • Willing and able to be on your feet and walk for long periods of time
  • Must be physically capable to bend, squat, reach, and climb ladders
  • Ability to carry, push, pull 20+ lbs
  • The ability to work under varying (and sometimes extreme) temperature changes
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime during the company’s busiest periods
