SIGNAL PROCESSING SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for a Signal Processing Software Engineer to join our Dayton, Ohio team. The position provides an opportunity to join a fast-paced elite team whose primary mission is to support our Nation's War Fighters. The candidate for this position shall be a self-starter who can work independently, unsupervised, and with little guidance. The candidate will have an opportunity to be a member of a world-class team consisting of talented and dedicated engineers, technicians, and professionals who work together to interrupt and challenge the status quo to design and develop state-of-the-art technologies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a Signal Processing Software Engineer with experience in Radar and IF Digital systems and the ability to work in a fast-paced RF laboratory designing, developing, and testing custom RF embedded solutions.
The selected engineer will have responsibility for and should have expertise in the following areas:
  • Implement Signal Processing Functions in a variety of languages for eventual deployment to real-time systems:
    • Matlab
    • LabVIEW
    • Python
    • C
    • C++
  • Design Embedded software layer (Primarily C) between FPGA signal processing and Application Code.
  • Work with other engineers to coordinate efforts and meet project deadlines.
  • Travel to customer sites to provide training and support.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or related field with at least five years’ experience.
  • Experience or desire to learn RF Signal Processing Algorithms.
  • Experience or desire to learn a variety of application SW languages.
  • Knowledge of Yocto or linux driver development.
  • Knowledge of Xilinx platforms.

  • U.S. Citizenship required. Must be eligible to obtain and/or maintain a Secret security clearance. Active clearance is preferred.
