This is an exciting opportunity for test engineers with experience in product testing, automation, troubleshooting, and aerospace systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement product testing methods and equipment.
  • Plan, coordinate, execute, and document product testing activities.
  • Integrate products with test tooling, instrumentation, software, and equipment.
  • Perform test setup, execution, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot test equipment, tooling, and test harnesses.
  • Support technical documentation, test procedures, and verification activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve testing processes.
  • Participate in customer and internal technical reviews.
  • Utilize modern testing tools and automation techniques to improve efficiency.
  • Support both 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 4:45 PM) and 2nd Shift (2:30 PM - Midnight) as required.
  • Travel approximately 10% between Goleta, Oxnard, and customer locations.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline with 2+ years of test engineering experience, or a Master's Degree in STEM.
  • Experience troubleshooting test equipment, tooling, and test harnesses.
  • Experience with test automation or Lean manufacturing/testing methodologies.
  • Technical writing and procedure development experience.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Test Engineering experience.
  • Experience with LabVIEW or other test automation software.
  • Experience testing motors, actuators, sensors, load transducers, and electronic components.
  • Aerospace or aeronautical industry experience.
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative engineering environment.
