Position : Labvantage Architect
Duration : 6 to 12 Months
Location : Boston, MA (Onsite)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Roles & Responsibilities:

Strong relational database knowledge and experience using either Oracle and/or SQL Server.
Strong Java, J2EE architecture, JavaScript, JSP, and DHTML/Web Page development including client-side scripting to add major functionality to the product line.
Strong understanding of JBOSS application server
Must have knowledge of LabVantage LIMS, including but not limited to configuration and understanding of LabVantage API's.
Build/configure LabVantage system per user requirements
Familiar with GMP lab processes and data capture with knowledge of regulatory considerations
Provide recommendations on best practices for LabVantage out of the box functionality
Ability to troubleshoot incident arising from Lab user on various instruments/supporting applications (L3 level)
Create and maintain technical support documentation (Support Runbook)
Assess risk and impact of production issues and escalate to business and technology management in a timely manner
Effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain technical issues in simple terms that non-IT staff can understand
Other desirable skills include: Applet development, XML, Java Swing, systems analysis, in addition to domain knowledge of laboratory practices and experience working in COBRA-based component development.

Secondary: GxP, Good understating of regulatory guidelines (FDA)
