Skilled Laborer / General Laborer - Tank Construction & Assembly
Eighty Four, PA | $20-$26/Hour Based on Experience | Full-Time
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a dependable Skilled Laborer / General Laborer to join a growing team in Eighty Four, PA. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude, construction experience, manufacturing experience, or general labor experience who enjoys working with tools and building things.
The successful candidate will assist with holding tank construction, tank assembly, fabrication, and general production work while working alongside an experienced and team-oriented crew.

Skilled Laborer Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with holding tank construction and assembly.
  • Use a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Assist with measuring, assembling, positioning, and preparing tank components.
  • Support multiple stages of the tank manufacturing and production process.
  • Perform general labor and material-handling tasks as needed.
  • Follow instructions, blueprints, or established procedures when applicable.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Work closely with experienced employees and other members of the production team.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Learn new construction, assembly, and manufacturing skills on the job.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Skilled Laborer, General Laborer, Construction Laborer, Manufacturing Worker, or Production Worker is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
  • Previous construction, fabrication, assembly, manufacturing, or industrial experience is a plus.
  • Welding experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to perform physical labor and work on your feet throughout the workday.
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to follow directions and work safely.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn specialized tank construction and assembly skills.
