Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and entrepreneurial individuals to operate convenience stores in Ontario and Western Quebec. As an Independent Retailer, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the store, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining efficient store operations, and driving profitability. This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, business-savvy, and passionate about creating a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Store Operations Management:
    • Oversee daily operations of the convenience store, fuel forecourt and car wash, ensuring smooth and efficient service, while maintaining the highest possible store standards.
    • Maintain store inventory levels and ensure the shelves are fully stocked and customer ready.
    • Order products from suppliers and manage inventory control.
    • Ensure store layout, signage, and displays are optimized for easy customer access.
    • Ensure all planogram and merchandising direction is properly executed
  2. Customer Service Excellence:
    • Provide high-quality customer service and resolve customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
    • Greet customers, offer assistance, and provide product recommendations as needed.
    • Create a welcoming and friendly store environment that promotes repeat business.
  3. Financial Management:
    • Manage daily cash flow, including cash register operations, credit card transactions, and balancing cash drawers.
    • Track sales, expenses, and profits to ensure financial targets are met.
    • Prepare and manage labor budgets.
  4. Staff Management (if applicable):
    • Hire, train, and supervise staff (as needed) to support store operations.
