Work Schedule:3rd Shift(M-F 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM)
  • Daily overtime
  • Occasionally Weekend Overtime

  • Kraft Heinz Claussen Pickles is the only manufacturing location in the world that produces Claussen brand pickles. Founded in 1870 by CF Claussen & Sons.
  • Kraft-Heinz Claussen Pickles is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all of our employees, while also meeting our obligations to preserve the environment.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Remove or cover edible products.

2. Remove or cover packaging materials.

3. Position drain baskets/screens and clean drains.

4. Pick up miscellaneous trash.

5. Wipe and cover equipment not adaptable wet cleaning.

6. Turn off power on equipment to be dismantled - Lock out/block out procedures.

7. Dismantle equipment.

8. Apply detergent, brush and scour, rinse, inspect for defects, and sanitize, final rinse, dry.

9. Perform miscellaneous cleaning tasks (including sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, dusting, etc.) throughout the entire facility.

10. Perform miscellaneous tasks on the plant grounds including sweeping, picking up garbage, watering and shoveling snow (seasonal).

11. Perform special projects which include non-routine cleaning and painting.

12. Responsible for notifying Sanitation Supervisor of any mechanical problems.

13. Responsible for proper placement of all sanitation utensils after using.

14. Must try to recycle as much recyclable waste as possible.

15. Operates handtrucks to move materials.

16. Pushes waste carts and disposing of it properly.

17. Works safely and promotes safe working conditions.

18. Responsible for minor production set-up such as filling glue pots, assembling equipment, placing equipment and items in proper place.

19. May also perform additional miscellaneous duties as directed by the Sanitation Supervisor.

20. Reads and writes either Spanish or English in order to follow written procedures and fill out pre-operational forms.

21. Measure chemical concentrations and records the results.
