Position Summary
We are seeking hardworking and safety-focused Construction Dry Utility Laborers to join our field team. In this role, you will support underground utility and site construction projects by performing a variety of physical labor tasks. You will work closely with crew members and foremen to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is a physically demanding, outdoor position with opportunities to grow your skills and advance within the company.
Responsibilities
  • Perform manual labor to support site and utility construction projects.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Perform work for underground dry utilities.
  • Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Clean and prepare job sites, including debris removal and site restoration.
  • Excavate trenches and perform manual digging around existing utilities.
  • Assist with installation of piping, conduit, and other utility infrastructure.
  • Support skilled tradespeople and equipment operators as needed.
  • Report equipment issues and perform light maintenance on tools.
  • Follow all safety procedures, participate in daily safety briefings, and use required PPE.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Previous construction or labor experience preferred (utility or site work experience a plus).
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
  • Comfortable working in trenches, confined spaces, and around active utilities.
