Job description

Groot Industries, a subsidiary of Waste Connections, is looking for a safety conscious Laborer to join the team at our SWANCC Transfer Station in Des Plaines, IL.
  • In this position you will be occasionally operating and moving equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, compactors, and other light equipment.
  • Helping out throughout the yard as needed and assisting customers.
  • Other job related duties as assigned.

This is a physical job working outside in all weather conditions.
Monday-Friday day shift with occasional Saturdays.
Job Requirements -
  • Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

Pay is $20.00 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours.
