Job description

HireQuest Direct is now hiring dependable General Laborers to support construction projects, warehouse operations, property cleanups, and commercial job sites throughout Bellingham, WA, and surrounding areas. We have immediate temporary, temp-to-hire, and ongoing work available for motivated individuals who are ready to work in fast-paced environments. What You'll Be Doing As a General Laborer, you'll help keep job sites safe, clean, and productive. Daily responsibilities may include:

  • Job site and construction cleanup
  • Removing debris, scrap materials, and trash
  • Sweeping, raking, and maintaining clean work areas
  • Loading and unloading tools, equipment, and building materials
  • Assisting skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other construction crews
  • Moving and staging materials throughout job sites
  • Light demolition and tear-down work
  • Warehouse cleanouts, property cleanups, and general labor projects
  • Following all safety procedures and supervisor instructions


What We're Looking For We're looking for individuals who are:
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Able to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in construction, industrial, or warehouse environments
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
