CDL Class A Driver/Laborer
Monday-Friday 6:30am-5pm availability (occasional Saturdays based on business need)
Job Summary
BrandSafway is seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Class B Driver / Laborer to support branch and job site operations. This position combines 50% driving responsibilities and 50% labor duties, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy both operating commercial vehicles and working hands-on in a construction or industrial environment.
The CDL Class B Driver / Laborer is responsible for the safe transportation of materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites while assisting with loading, unloading, inventory management, and general yard or warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Driving & Transportation (50%)
  • Safely operate commercial vehicles requiring a CDL Class B license.
  • Deliver materials, equipment, and supplies from the branch to job sites.
  • Pick up materials and equipment from job sites and return them to branch inventory.
  • Transport materials between branch locations and multiple job sites as needed.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
  • Ensure all loads are properly secured and transported safely.
  • Maintain required DOT logs, vehicle inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
  • Comply with all company, DOT, federal, state, and local safety regulations.

Labor & Yard Support (50%)
  • Load and unload trucks, materials, and equipment.
  • Stage, organize, and store materials in the yard or warehouse.
  • Assist with inventory control and material tracking.
  • Clean, inspect, and maintain equipment and work areas.
  • Support scaffold, construction, industrial, or warehouse operations as assigned.
  • Perform general labor tasks including lifting, carrying, sweeping, and material handling.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
Required
  • Valid CDL Class B Driver's License.
  • Acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to meet DOT requirements and company driver qualifications.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in an industrial or construction environment.
  • Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and customer service.
  • 2 years' experience in construction, industrial services, warehousing, or material handling operating commercial vehicles
  • Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle operations.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, and more with assistance.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and climbing.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely perform manual labor throughout the workday.
