Job Description:

Philly’s Best Steak is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a HVAC Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC, as well as experience in electrical troubleshooting, general maintenance and labor tasks within an industrial setting. This is a dynamic role that combines specialized HVAC work with broader maintenance responsibilities.

Responsibilities:


HVAC Specialist:

  • Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC issues, including Blast freezers (-30) Freezers (0) coolers and office HVAC units. Coordinate with production and maintenance temps to ensure uninterrupted operation of HVAC systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
  • Help develop preventive maintenance for HVAC systems.

Maintenance Technician:

  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including equipment repairs, adjustments, and replacements.
  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery and identify areas for improvement.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and participate in emergency response activities.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to perform a variety of maintenance tasks.

General Laborer:

  • Assist in various tasks related to plant operations, including cleaning, lifting, and transporting materials.
  • Support production processes by ensuring equipment and work areas are in optimal condition.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production and maintenance goals.
  • Always adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.

Teamwork:

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in HVAC with a focus on industrial or commercial settings.
  • EPA 608
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues effectively.
  • Familiarity with industrial machinery and equipment. (freezers, coolers, chillers etc.)
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks and lift heavy objects.
  • Willingness to cross-train and expand skills in various maintenance areas.
  • Utilizing (CMMS) to track work and close work orders.

Education and Certifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant plumbing certification or license.
  • Additional certifications in maintenance or related fields are a plus.
