Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Underground Utility Laborer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist with underground utility installation and maintenance by operating heavy equipment, performing manual labor, and supporting various construction activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in utility construction while contributing to vital infrastructure projects.
Duties
  • Spot for heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks to assist with utility installation and excavation work
  • Support pipe laying operations using pipe lasers and blueprint reading to ensure precise placement of pipelines and utilities
  • Assist with utility locating and pipeline installation to ensure accurate placement and safety compliance
  • Conduct plumbing, and other related tasks as needed for utility connections and repairs
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and inspecting equipment regularly
  • Collaborate with team members on construction site activities including trenching, backfilling, and site cleanup
