Job description

QC Inspector

Pay: $19.25/hour

Location: Midlothian, TX 76065

Shift: Day Shift | MondayFriday | 5:00 AM 3:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Inspector to support Quality Control and Production operations by ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The QC Inspector plays a key role in verifying product quality, reviewing documentation, conducting audits, and helping ensure products are manufactured correctly the first time.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve production batch records for accuracy and compliance.

  • Audit production documentation during and after filling operations.

  • Verify correct materials, components, and compounded batches are used on production lines.

  • Inspect production areas to ensure compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and GLPs.

  • Identify and quarantine non-conforming materials and finished products.

  • Report quality issues and assist with investigations as needed.

  • Conduct daily housekeeping and logbook audits.

  • Document audit findings and communicate results to Quality Management.

  • Support employee GMP training and participate in Quality System audits.

  • Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework in a science-related field is preferred.

  • Minimum of 6 months of Quality Inspector or Quality Auditor experience in a GMP manufacturing or warehouse environment.

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biomedical, or medical device manufacturing is preferred. Knowledge of batch record review, CAPA processes, and deviation investigations. Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret SOPs, regulations, and technical procedures.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database applications.

  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully pass a background check.
