We are seeking a dedicated RN to join our highly skilled Heart & Vascular team and help provide exceptional care to patients undergoing advanced cardiac electrophysiology procedures.

Job Summary & Qualifications 


The EP Lab Registered Nurse provides direct patient care before, during, and after electrophysiology procedures. Working collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, technologists, and multidisciplinary care teams, the RN ensures safe, high-quality care throughout the patient experience.

This role is ideal for an experienced procedural, critical care, cardiac, cath lab, or telemetry nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about cardiovascular care.

What will you do: 

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout the procedural process
  • Prepare patients for electrophysiology studies, ablations, device implants, and other cardiac rhythm management procedures
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition
  • Administer medications and moderate sedation in accordance with hospital policies and state regulations
  • Provide patient and family education regarding procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians and procedural staff to ensure positive patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  • Support call coverage requirements as assigned
What qualifications you will need:
  • ACLS and BCLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • (RN) Registered Nurse
  • Cardiovascular, Critical Care, ICU, CVICU, ED, or Step-Down nursing experience preferred
