Job Description:
The laboratory teams are responsible for testing samples such as blood, body fluids, and tissue to aid in the diagnosis of diseases and conditions that require medical attention. Lab tests are processed for hospital inpatients, emergency room patients, and outpatient specimens 24 hours a day.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform lab tests and procedures accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with CLIA and CAP regulations
  • Process specimens from hospital inpatients and emergency room patients
  • Perform testing on outpatient and clinic specimens
Requirements:
  • Experience with Epic, Antibody IDs, Emergency blood banking, Ortho Vitros 5600
  • ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician
