Job Summary

The Micro Trench Laborer supports micro-trenching operations for the installation of underground utilities, primarily fiber optic conduit. This role involves hands-on labor, working closely with equipment operators and crew members to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Micro Trench Operator during trenching operations
  • Install conduit, duct, and related materials in micro trenches
  • Perform site preparation and cleanup, including surface restoration
  • Hand dig, shovel, and compact material as needed
  • Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment
  • Assist with traffic control, barricades, and workzone safety
  • Identify and protect existing underground utilities
  • Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
