Job Title: Vessel Welder

Job Description

We are seeking skilled vessel welders to join our team. The role involves welding on storage tanks, spheres, and water towers of varying sizes from 23ft to 43ft. As a welder, you will primarily use stick and flux core techniques to weld vessels and components, with an emphasis on carbon steel up to 3 inches thick. You should be proficient in back gouging for 100% x-ray welds.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a vessel welder.
• Ability to pass 2G and 3G weld tests and perform back gouging.
• Proficiency in flux core and stick welding.
• Experience with vessel components.
• Experience backgouging

Work Environment

You will work in a large, non-climate-controlled shop where safety is a top priority due to the presence of heavy equipment. Day shifts run from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with Saturdays as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX 77064.

The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $31.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
