Job Description

People Source is seeking dependable and motivated Construction Laborers with Forklift Certification to join our team for commercial construction projects throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area. The ideal candidate has experience working on active construction sites, safely operating a forklift, and assisting crews with material handling, site preparation, and general labor duties.

This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, take safety seriously, and are looking for long-term opportunities with room for advancement.


Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift to load, unload, transport, and stage construction materials.
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries from trucks and trailers.
  • Move materials throughout the job site safely and efficiently.
  • Perform general construction labor including site cleanup, material handling, and assisting skilled trades.
  • Assemble and disassemble temporary structures and job site equipment as needed.
  • Organize and maintain material laydown yards.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely.
  • Inspect forklifts before each shift and report any maintenance issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the superintendent or foreman.


Qualifications

  • Current Forklift Certification (Required)
  • Minimum 1 year of construction labor experience
  • Experience operating sit-down forklifts on construction sites
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.
  • OSHA 10 certification
