Job Summary

E-Logic, Inc. is seeking reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused Relocation Laborers to support a government-related relocation project throughout the Baltimore, Maryland area. This position is responsible for packing, loading, transporting, unloading, and placing furniture, equipment, supplies, and other materials while following project procedures, safety requirements, and client expectations.


This role is physically demanding and requires extensive lifting, stair climbing, teamwork, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to professionalism and safety. Only qualified candidates who meet all project requirements will be selected. Candidates must demonstrate reliability, punctuality, a strong work ethic, and relevant experience in moving, logistics, warehouse operations, or material handling.

Selected candidates must successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings, including background checks and fingerprinting, prior to assignment. Additional screening requirements may apply based on project requirements.

Working Hours

July 27: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

July 28 - August 3: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Evening or weekend work may be required with prior approval.

Key Responsibilities

Packing and Preparation

Pack designated areas using approved packing materials, including commercial bins, bubble wrap, packing paper, and other protective materials.

Properly label and organize boxes and materials according to project instructions to ensure accurate placement and efficient relocation.

Loading and Unloading

Load and unload box trucks safely while handling furniture, equipment, supplies, and other materials with care.

Move items between designated locations while following proper lifting techniques and safety procedures.

Material Handling and Transportation

Safely transport and handle various items, including:

  • Boxes
  • Furniture
  • Equipment
  • Office materials
  • Storage items
  • Classroom and facility supplies
  • Specialty equipment

Ensure all items are properly protected during handling and transportation.

Equipment Protection and Organization

Install floor protection and use approved protective materials before placing equipment and carts in designated areas.

Report damaged items, missing materials, or safety concerns immediately to the supervisor.

Team Support and Communication

Follow instructions provided by the On-Site Supervisor or Project Manager.

Maintain professional communication with supervisors, team members, and authorized project representatives.

Participate in daily team meetings and project updates as required.

Uniform and Identification Requirements

Wear required company uniforms and identification badges at all times while performing project duties.

Qualifications

  • Previous moving, relocation, warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience preferred.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Must successfully complete required background checks, fingerprinting, and screening requirements.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
  • Ability to climb stairs while carrying heavy items.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions as required.
  • Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
