Job description

URGENT NEED – RN Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Facility: Adventist Health Ukiah Valley
Location: Ukiah, CA
Setting: 50-bed Acute Care / Level II Nursery / Level IV Trauma Center

Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
Hours: 36–48 hrs/week

Pay: $74 – $76/hr
Weekly Gross:

  • 36 hrs/week: $2,664 – $2,736

  • 48 hrs/week: $3,552 – $3,648

Requirements & Credentials
  • Active California RN License required

  • BLS required

  • ACLS required

  • NRP required

  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required

  • Labor & Delivery experience required

  • Postpartum experience preferred

  • Level II nursery experience required

  • BSN preferred

  • Acute care hospital experience preferred

  • Strong L&D clinical skills (labor, delivery, recovery care)

Responsibilities
  • Provide labor, delivery, and recovery nursing care

  • Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor

  • Assist in deliveries and postpartum stabilization

  • Support newborn care in Level II nursery

  • Coordinate care with OB physicians and care team

  • Educate and support patients and families

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation
